The art and science of discovery.
To Dr. Zynda-Weiss, the imaging sciences bring together anatomy and pathology to answer her patient's most critical questions. It is this process of discovery, of uncovering solutions to problems that inspired her to become a radiologist.
She earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. During her third year of medical school, she was chosen to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society—quite a distinction since most members aren’t chosen until their senior year.
Dr. Zynda-Weiss is a clinical specialist in MRI, having completed UMI's own Advanced MRI Fellowship Program in 2006. She has conducted research on neuronal growth cone guidance and has been published in Ultrasound Secrets and CT Secrets.
Certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Zynda-Weiss is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Association for Women Radiologists.
